The Dallas Cowboys OTA's wrapped up yesterday and a lot can be taken away from it. CeeDee Lamb was not present today and George Pickens was still absent from OTA's.

  • The day before the Offense won the day, today it was the defense taking control

  • Prescott went 11-16 on the day, being picked off once by Colbie Durant on a spectactular diving interception.

  • The receiver core featured Ryan Flournoy, MVS, and Kavonte Turpin with emphasis on the quick game(slants, sticks, short throws)

  • Javonte Williams was absent so Phil Mafah and Jayden Blue split the first team reps

  • Sam Howell took more of an active role in the QB2 spot and had a better day than Joe Milton

  • Over to the defense, Christian Parker seems to be trusting Downs more and more on the defense, utilizing him in different positions(nickel, box-safety, deep-safety)

  • Dee Winters and Demarion Overshown seem to be emerging as the linebacker core for the upcoming season with DMO being utilized in different positions.

  • Revel and Barnham have impressed, especially revel who was without the brace today and had a couple of deflections.

  • Overall a nice defensive day for the Dallas Cowboys, which even without CeeDee and GP3, it is a nice sign for the Cowboys to see their defense to answer the call.
