Cowboys vs Seahawks Pre-season recap

The Cowboys brought a lot of positives and good things to take away after their first pre-season game. Let's dive into how the Cowboys fared in their first bit of action since January.

• Calen Carson, WHAT ARE YOU DOING MAN. For the love of god please change your insta name from walking seatbelt because if it was a car crash we'd all be dead.

• Sam Howell and Joe Milton were both equally impressive yesterday. More so on Milton because of what we saw last year I was impressed with his timing on some routes over the middle. He has some impressive touch over the top on Camden Brown's fade ball instead of beaming a guy in the head with a football. Sam Howell showcased a lot of poise under some disguised coverages and blitz looks with some quick throws.

• Michael Trigg impressed people without a doubt yesterday. The Cowboys have 3 TE's who can be Dak's guy this year(although Ferguson is still his favorite guy)

• Camden Brown, welcome to the team buddy. That was an impressive display yesterday on his touchdowns from Howell and from Milton. Would like to see more and more targets head his way including, Jonothan Mingo, who was also impressive yesterday

• In a battle with Blue vs Mafah, Malik Davis was actually the one who looked better yesterday in the run game. Davis has gone through an endless cycle of being put on the training camp and on the active roster and I hope the Cowboys keep him on the roster this year.

• After allowing an early scoring drive, the Cowboys' defense pitched a shutout over the remaining three-and-a-half quarters, allowing only 156 total yards of offense and securing a fourth-quarter goal-line stand

• Side note, Welcome to the team Von Miller, and whoever the idiot is that said Prescott played with Murray should be fired today.
