Some interesting things have developed for the Dallas Cowboys as today we are going to dive into George Pickens recent situation and notes from the Cowboys minicamp from today.

MINICAMP NOTES:

  • Couldn't find much of Prescott's work today, as he was limited with a sore knee, but he participated in much of the 7v7 and a little of the 11v11. Pretty normal day for him so that knee doesn't really look serious

  • He had a pretty normal day outside a beautiful back shoulder throw to Ceedee. I will dock points for hist first throw in which Ceedee had a step and Dak just missed him deep over the middle

  • Shavon Revel and Colbie Durant had some PBU's and Christian Parker was heavy on zone coverage today.

  • Revel continues to get better and better and Christian Parker has continued to impress Schotty with his coverages.

  • George Pickens obviously made his debut appearance today, something we will touch on down here, and caught a few in 7v7.

  • Jalen Thompson, Malik Hooker, and Daron Bland were seen working with the rehab director

Now we can get to the starboy of the day and that happens to be number 3, George Pickens.

George Pickens has returned to the squad after a brief standoff with management about his contract issue. Not just that however, Pickens has made it clear that he is willing to play on the franchise tag and doesn't have any plans to sit out whatsoever. This is generally good news for Cowboys nation, however, Pickens agent is the same one who represents Micah Parsons, the same guy who Jerry Jones publicly criticized for being the main driver of Parsons's decision to leave Dallas. It'll be interesting to see how this off-season plays out, as this would be one drama-less offseason which doesn't really fit the normalcy of this team, yet it is a sigh of relief that a reciever known for antics isn't pursuing a dramatic resolution to this.
