Pickens not reporting

George Pickens reportedly will not report to the Dallas Cowboys's offseason programs set to start in mid-may.

Reportedly, Pickens has been very involved with Dallas and the market about a long-term extension getting done with either Dallas or another team. This action marks the 3rd year in a row that the Dallas Cowboys have let one of their big name players stir up drama in free agency. In 2024 Ceedee Lamb held out in order to get his new contract and in 2025 Micah Parsons and Jerry Jones went back in forth in the media until Parsons was eventually shipped off to Green Bay.

Although many still have faith a long-term resolution is likely, it speaks a lot towards the way the Jones's treat valuable members of this team, and with Pickens's reputation of him being a bit of a hothead, they would do good to approach this with caution.
