The long-awaited NFL schedule has arrived for the boys in blue. Its a jam packed schedule filled with primetime matchups and about zero rest in between some of these games because Roger Goodell hates the Dallas Cowboys. Join me as we recap all of the games that the Dallas Cowboys play in the 2026 year.

Week 1 @ NY GIANTS 7:20 PM CST:

The Dallas Mavericks travel back to NY where the season concluded last year. Since I have been alive Dallas and NY have squared off in 7 week 1 games and 8 since 2006. In these games Dallas is 7-1 and 2-0 with the games played in New York. Dallas won the matchups in 2012 and 2023. But those are past matchups and both squads are coming off of seasons that I'm sure they'd like to throw in the garbage. Both teams coming with something to prove especially with the new additions thrown in with Caleb Downs for the Cowboys and Arvell Reese for the Giants. While both teams have improved and the Giants d-line poses a threat especially to the tackles of the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas should take this game in a 33-20 affair and improve to 1-0.

Week 2 vs Commanders 3:25 PM CST:

Dak Prescott and Jayden Daniels meet for the second time in Dallas where Washington's season went into a tailspin after a blowout in week 7 last year. JD5 will be looking for a fair share of his revenge vs Dallas as he suffered a hamstring/knee injury which sidelined him for most of the season and evidently ended Washington's season. Not only that, Terry Mclaurin and company will be playing in this game as he himself missed the Dallas game last year which proved to be a big factor as to why Washington's offense grinded to a halt. Again, this is another game where I expect the Dallas offense to take a huge step here as the firepower of the Dallas artillery with Dak, Ceedee, Pickens, Ferguson, and Javonte should be enough to overpower the Commanders. Expect Dallas to take this game in a closer affair to last year 38-27.

Week 3 @ RIO 3:25 PM CST vs Baltimore Ravens

Pack the bags folks, because the Cowboys are taking their talents to RIO to play the Baltimore Ravens in what is sure to be a fantastic and entertaining game. The Dallas Cowboys travel all the way to Rio to duel Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in a week 3 matchup reminiscient of the one these two had 2 years ago. The Cowboys obviously look different with the addition of George Pickens and their offense as a whole has changed since. Before the Ravens played tight man coverage in order to stifle the Cowboys, which won't work with George Pickens. This is sure to be an entertaining game and probably will break records to become the most viewed of all time, but Dallas ends up getting a measure of their revenge and win 31-23.

Week 4( Battle of Texas) @ Houston Texas 7:15 PM CST:

The Cowboys travel back to Houston to play the Texans in the battle for Texas as some would say. When these two met 2 years ago it was a little more lopsided in Houston's favor without Dak Prescott, but now this matchup couldn't be more even here. Prescott and company traveling to play a DC who's plagued him before with the Niners in Demeaco Ryans and the best defense in all of football in the Houston Texans. While CJ Stroud on the other end struggled in the playoff game vs the Patriots, he is still one of the better QBS in the league, though the offensive line weaknesses for the Texans could be something to exploit for the Cowboys. However, this time the Texans defense will prove too much for the Cowboys to handle and the Texans will win this game 23-17.

Week 5: vs Bucs TNF 7:20 PM CST

The Cowboys on just 3 days rest travel back to Arlington to take on Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The team at this point will likely be dead tired and have sustained multiple injuries as a result, but the Bucs aren't a really physical team and the Cowboys have had success in the past in the air attack against the Bucs in the past. On the flip side of things the Bucs will try to use Bucky Irving to tire out this already tired defense. I still expect the Cowboys to come out of this with a win, a real offensive game to bounce back from the Houston loss 40-34.

Week 6: @ Green Bay Packers — 7:20 PM CST (Sunday Night Football)

After finally getting a mini-bye week following the Thursday night game against the Bucs, the Cowboys travel north to the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field. Facing a bitter historic rival in primetime is never easy, especially on the road. The extra rest pays off for the offense, but the Green Bay atmosphere and a late-game turnover from Green Bary and Jordan Love should cost them.

  • Prediction: Cowboys win, 27-24. (Record: 5-1)

Week 7: @ Philadelphia Eagles — 8:15 PM CST (Monday Night Football)

The schedule makers show zero mercy, putting Dallas right back on the road for consecutive cold-weather away games, this time under the lights of Lincoln Financial Field. Division matchups on Monday night are always dogfights. Unfortunately for the Cowboys, the Eagles, just like the last matchup they had in Philly will do just enough to edge this one out.

  • Prediction: Cowboys lose, 24-20. (Record: 5-2)

Week 8: vs Arizona Cardinals — 12:00 PM CST

Coming off a physical Monday night battle in Philly, Dallas has a short week to head back home to Arlington to face the Cardinals. Arizona always plays the Cowboys surprisingly tough, and this game is no exception as a tired Dallas defense struggles to contain mobile threats early. However, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens dominate the secondary late to secure a pretty comfortable victory, and the Cowboys get a measure of revenge from last years defeat.

  • Prediction: Cowboys win, 31-15. (Record: 6-2)

Week 9: @ Indianapolis Colts — 12:00 PM CST

A great storyline game as first-round safety Caleb Downs gets to play against his older brother, Colts wide receiver Josh Downs. On top of that, former Jets teammates Quinnen Williams and Sauce Gardner (who Indy traded for at last year's deadline) face off. These AFC road games tend to get Dallas off their game and unfortunately, I think that will be the case here as well as Daniel Jones gets a measure of revenge beating the Cowboys for the second time in his career.

Prediction: Cowboys lose (Record: 6-3)

Week 10: vs San Francisco 49ers — 3:25 PM CST

The ultimate modern conference rivalry returns to AT&T Stadium. The 49ers defense always poses the ultimate litmus test Schotty and Dak Prescott. In front of a raucous home crowd, the passing attack finds answers it didn't have in past years, with Ferguson and Pickens exposing the middle of the field.

  • Prediction: Cowboys win, 28-24. (Record: 7-3)

Week 11: vs Tennessee Titans — 12:00 PM CST

Dallas hosts a new-look Tennessee team now led by Robert Saleh. It’s a reunion game for Caleb Downs against his Ohio State teammate Carnell Tate, while the defense sees former faces on the opposite sideline. The Titans play gritty football, but coming off the emotional high of beating the Niners, Dallas takes care of business at home.

  • Prediction: Cowboys win, 34-14. (Record: 8-3)

Week 12: vs Philadelphia Eagles — 3:30 PM CST (Thanksgiving Day)

The most hyped up matchup in all of football for me. Dallas vs Philly under the bright lights in Arlington. And something even better we've got Brady on the call on thanksgiving. This is sure to be the best game of the season and the game of the season for both teams. Due to Dallas's upgrades defensively and Philly's winning culture, this game could be a turning point for both teams similar to last year. This time though, Calen Downs makes his name known and picks off SB MVP Jalen Hurts to give the Cowboys the win and propel them into first place of the division.

  • Prediction: Cowboys win, 30-23. (Record: 9-3)

Week 13: @ Seattle Seahawks — 7:15 PM CST (Monday Night Football)

Roger Goodell’s scheduling nightmare forces the Cowboys to travel across the country to Seattle for a Monday Night Football showdown after their Thanksgiving game. The crowd at Lumen Field is deafening, but I expect Prescott to show out in this game but the Seahawks should still win this one in a good game.

  • Prediction: Cowboys lose, 28-25. (Record: 9-4)

Week 14: BYE WEEK

Finally, some actual rest. The boys in blue get a much-needed week off in mid-December to heal up before the final playoff push.

Week 15: @ Los Angeles Rams — 3:25 PM CST

Coming off the bye week the Cowboys would look to respond vs none other than the Los Angeles Rams jesus christ can we get a layup of a game? The Cowboys are set to take on one of the best offenses in all of football and the reigning MVP Matthew Stafford. Stafford and Dak are not stranger to these matchups, as both have powerful skills and powerful weapons to use against each other. This will be a high-flying matchup between both of these teams but the Rams use home field advantage and the strong defensive play to their advantage to take this one over Dallas.

  • Prediction: Cowboys lose, 38-31. (Record: 9-5)

Week 16: vs Jacksonville Jaguars — 7:20 PM CST (Sunday Night Football)

Back in primetime for Sunday Night Football. The Jaguars present a balanced challenge, but Quinnen Williams and the defensive front completely take away the interior run game, forcing mistakes out of the Jacksonville passing attack.

  • Prediction: Cowboys win, 27-13. (Record: 10-5)

Week 17: vs New York Giants — 12:00 PM CST

The Giants travel to Arlington for the second leg of the historic rivalry. With the Cowboys closing in on a high playoff seed and division title, they leave no doubt. The defense swarms the Giants' front line, making this a much more lopsided affair than Week 1.

  • Prediction: Cowboys win, 31-10. (Record: 11-5)

Week 18: @ Washington Commanders — 12:00 PM CST

The regular season wraps up on the road at Northwest Stadium. Depending on whether the No. 1 seed is locked up, Dallas might pull the starters early, or they might have to fight for the crown. Assuming they play to lock it down, JD5 and the Commanders put up a heavy fight at home, but Dallas edges them out to sweep the season series and cap off a spectacular regular season.

  • Prediction: Cowboys win, 24-21. (Final Regular Season Record: 12-5)

There it is, after a strong off-season and draft, the Dallas Cowboys return to their winning ways and they finish at 12-5. After two straight 7 win seasons, the Cowboys get back to a strong season and hopefully, this becomes the year for a deep playoff push.
